Fund Raising

We are very active with fundraising activities to support grants to help children and youth in the community.   Our fundraising activities include our annual Pancake Breakfast, Football and Basketball Ticket Taking at Purdue, Bell Ringing and Christmas Auction for the Salvation Army, weekly donations for Riley Hospital for children.

Postlethwait Scholarship Award

Scholarships and Grants

We make scholarships and grants one of the areas of club emphasis.   The engagement with the children and youth of our community and their support fulfils the Kiwanis vision and mission "Serving the children of the world"
Our club is very successful with fundraising in order to be able to offer a number of scholarships and grants.
Every year we make a number of grants to Youth Services groups to support their operations and provide materials.
In addition to grants we also award a number of scholarships such as: the Postlethwait Scholarship, Howenstein music award,
Lafayette Community Scholarship, Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship and the National Football Foundation Ted Luce Scholarships. Also we participate each year in the Bugs Program, bring up grades, and Terrific Kids, recognizing kid who made outstanding progress the past year.
Each year the Lafayette Kiwanis Club supports almost $8,000 in scholarships, grants and awards, touching the lives of more than 600 kids.
