Cathy Wright-Eger, former Purdue womens coach and current leadership advisor for the Intercollegiate Athletics, will tell us about the John Wooden Leadership Institute and how it mentors all Boilermaker athletes.

Nalley Garcia-Nava will tell us about Live Out Loud Charity, an organization that teaches awareness for spotting bullying and identifying people who are suicidal. The local chapter works with NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Kerry Smith, the City of Lafayette Water Superintendent, will talk about the Teays River, once a huge prehistoric river that flows beneath Greater Lafayette and supplies our drinking water. (We do not drink from the Wabash River.) The new Teays River Brewing and Public House on South 9th Street credits the good water for making beer.

West Lafayette Police Chief Jason Dombkowski will talk about the reality of the opioid epidemic and its far-reaching effects - even in West Lafayette. (Note: He will NOT be making a political speech. He will be speaking as the current police chief.)

Carrie Ehresman will host "Separating Historical Fact from Local Legend. The True Story of Triple XXX Restaurant" as the current owners of Triple XXX present a video and background information on Indiana's oldest drive-in restaurant.

Alberta Barker will host "Why Would Anyone Want to Create a Trust?" and discuss how the financial and legal benefits of having a trust are as wide-ranging as the resources and objectives of families that enjoy them.

Kayla Dunham will host "The Grayson Dunham Foundation" and provide information on a special program at Riley Children's Hospital named after her son Grayson that seeks to provide aid, comfort and support to other children and families.

Billy Hooper will host "Inspiration for the New Year" with guest Richard Arnold, who will discuss his collaboration with Sam Postlethwait and the photographs and text taken from "The Wonderful World of Nature" published by them in 2010.
